Applications

This piping is specially designed for the conduction of electrical cables, in uses such as electrical, industrial or domestic installations. In electrical installations of underground systems, embedded in concrete or directly buried, or in systems exposed to the elements to house and protect the cables that conduct electrical energy, for use in shopping centers, industrial warehouses, etc.

The Schedule 40 conduit pipe is made from a non-plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound, with a classification cell 12454 according to NMX-E-031.

The joining of these pipes is carried out by means of the direct interconnection of a thermoformed and integrated bell end to the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates its insertion. Its solvent-weld joining system forms a homogeneous assembly that develops maximum resistance and a hermetic seal.

This pipe fully complies with the UL 651 specification standard, as endorsed by its certification for electrical installations operating at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.

Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the correct functioning of the product, as well as its useful life. It complies with the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric rigidity, they are a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or leaks of electrical potential from the cable to the duct.

Features
  • Self-extinguishing
  • Nominal Diameter: 2'
  • Average outer diameter:
    • Minimum: 60.02 mm (2.36')

    • Maximum: 60.48 mm (2.38')
