FPP 5000 External power supply
The FPP-5000 external power supply kit is designed as a universal power supply and has space for two 12 V/45 Ah batteries. Its configuration includes components from the modular FPA‑5000 fire panel.
Basic functions
In the FPP-5000 power supply, the panel rail made of fiberglass reinforced plastic has a BCM-0000-B battery control module built in. The power supply is inserted into the power supply holder and is ready to operate immediately via the pre-wired socket and plug connections. The holder has a thermal sensor.
The UPS 2416 A universal power supply is protected against overvoltages and reverse polarity. The output voltage is externally monitored and controlled. The FAULT output indicates that a fault has occurred. The integrated green LED indicates that the unit is operational. The BCM‑0000‑B battery control module controls the power supply and the charging of the batteries (2 x 12 V / 45 Ah), according to temperature parameters and set times. Each voltage output is electronically fused. All voltage outputs can be connected in parallel.
