DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices use an integrated, energy-efficient design. Easy to install and use, DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices feature wizard-based setup and centralized configuration.
Operating Modes
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices can operate in three different modes:
- Complete video recording and management system using the key components and services of BVMS and Video Recording Manager. This mode offers a unique advanced IP video security solution that provides fully integrated management of digital video, audio and data over an IP network. It seamlessly combines IP cameras and encoders, provides system alarm and event management, system health monitoring, and priority and user management. This mode provides the best video management system for Bosch video surveillance devices, leveraging the unique capabilities of Bosch cameras and recording solutions. Includes Video Streaming Gateway components for integrating third-party cameras.
- Advanced video recording solution for a BVMS system using the key components and services of Video Recording Manager, leveraging the unique capabilities of Bosch cameras and recording solutions. Up to two Video Recording Manager servers can be added to a BVMS system running on a DIVAR IP all-in-one device.
- iSCSI storage expansion for a BVMS system running on different hardware. Up to two of these iSCSI storage expansions can be added to a BVMS system running on a DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 device.
Functions
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices use an integrated design and core components and are based on the Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2022 for Storage Workgroup operating system.
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices feature high-performance, front-replaceable SATA hard drives that provide 36 TB of raw storage capacity.
Ease of Installation
Once started, the system will prompt for the installation of the DIVAR IP System Manager application, which will guide you through the operating mode selection. The latest software packages can be installed in one step.
The system features wizard-based BVMS installation and configuration to start recording after a few simple steps.
Management and Health Monitoring
DIVAR IP System Manager provides a central user interface for software configuration, operating mode selection and updating, reducing installation and training requirements and keeping system management costs low.
When DIVAR IP all-in-one is connected to the Bosch Remote Portal, the Remote System Management service allows you to leverage the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to provide a range of easy-to-use tools and capabilities for secure, transparent and cost-effective asset management throughout the life cycle of a device or system.
This service enables users to perform inventory management and updates, as well as health monitoring tasks for an entire system from a centralized Remote Portal platform.
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 devices provide support for SNMP monitoring of system hardware and video management applications to ensure maximum uptime.
Instant Real-Time Video Access
Enjoy high-quality HD or UHD video even if the connection has low or limited bandwidth. Dynamic Transcoding technology ensures that you can view your videos instantly, anytime, anywhere.
Dynamic Transcoding decodes and re-encodes the data stream to a lower bit rate, suitable for the connection's bandwidth. When video is paused, the instant detail enhancement feature displays video at full resolution.
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 systems support transcoding of up to four 4K UHD streams at 30 fps.
Remote Viewing
For remote viewing of a single DIVAR IP all-in-one system, BVMS Operator Client is included. If you have multiple systems, add them to BVMS Enterprise Management Server. You can also use the Video Security App for remote viewing from mobile devices.

Environmental Conditions
Install the system in a clean, dust-free, dry, weather-protected and well-ventilated area. Avoid areas where heat, electrical noise and electromagnetic fields are generated.
The standard warranty accompanying the system will be void if the system is found to have been exposed to conditions that contradict the environmental conditions mentioned here.
Configuring New Hard Drives
DIVAR IP all-in-one units equipped with factory hard drives are ready for immediate recording. Hard drive units that have been added to an empty unit must be configured before they can be used for video recording.
The configuration of new hard drive units must be performed manually using the disk management utility. This manual disk configuration is necessary for the DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 system to be fully operational.
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 Configuration
DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 units come pre-configured with a standard non-RAID configuration and have the following specifications:
These values refer to the BVMS/VRM recording engine, net capacity for a non-RAID configuration, 32 licensed IP camera channels providing up to 64 iSCSI recording sessions and 4 playback clients.
These specifications apply to all three operating modes.

Recorded video streams must be configured so that the maximum system bandwidth (basic BVMS/VRM system plus iSCSI storage expansions) is not exceeded.

Bosch is not responsible for data loss, damage or system failure of units with hard drives not supplied by Bosch. Bosch cannot provide support if non-Bosch supplied hard drives are considered to be the cause of the problem. To resolve potential hardware issues, Bosch will require the installation of Bosch-supplied hard drives.

The system requires a mouse and keyboard for setup and operation. These components are not included.

DIVAR IP all-in-one devices include a 5-year service level agreement covering parts replacement within 3 business days. This service level will only be provided if the device has been registered immediately after receipt and installation. Otherwise, the service will be provided to the best of our ability.
Information on registration details is available with each shipment or in the Bosch online product catalog. This service level may not be available in all countries.
