Frequently Asked Questions:
How many Hubs can I associate with the application?
16 Hubs can be associated with the application; considering 16 locks per Hub, up to 256 locks can be managed in the application.
How many administrators does the application support and how many simultaneous users can be associated per HUB?
You can only have 1 administrator account, which can be logged in on multiple devices at the same time.
How long does it take to change a password for a given Hub?
There is a delay of less than one minute when registering a new guest.
How long does the battery last in each device?
With average use, the battery lasts approximately 1 year; with heavier than normal use, it can last 6 months. The lock gives an alarm when the battery is running low, both locally and in the mobile app.
Do you have a demo that I can access from the installed application associated with the Hub and smart locks?
Currently, there is no demo system. It would be necessary to have a basic system with 1 lock and 1 Hub to perform tests.
Is all equipment management done through the application, or can it also be done through computer software or web access?
All management is done from the mobile application; it is not possible through computer software or web access.
Can the system generate opening and closing reports, pre-alarms or failures (e.g., device battery failure), and report them to the application and/or platform?
The system shows usage records for opening and closing, via keypad, manual, or APP. It also has PUSH notifications that indicate the lock's status, whether it is open or closed. It only indicates the lock's status, not the door itself. If the door was forced in some way without modifying or forcing the lock, the application will not show it.
Is there a way to know if the door is open or closed? Does the equipment have a position sensor or magnetic contact for status to differentiate between open and closed, and is this reflected in the application?
As mentioned in the previous question, the application does show the lock's status, but not the door's status, even if a magnetic contact is present.
Do you have a presentation or video that I can show to my client?
You can watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gLu33hS47o&feature=emb_logo
NOTE - The use of the YALE application is only available for use in MEXICO; use from other countries does not apply.
