MICALERT is a microphonic cable fence intrusion detection system, forming a passive electronic system for intrusion detection. The system is ideal for outdoor protection and can be easily installed on wrought iron, steel panels, metal fences (rigid), etc.
The MICALERT microphonic sensor system is based on a sensor cable with a miniature audio frequency system that includes a digital signal processor (DSP).
The MICALERT microphonic sensor cable offers an intrusion detection solution by analyzing the typical noise patterns produced by an attempted forced entry. The system can recognize movement caused by an attempt to cross the fence and disregard signals produced by weather conditions, preventing unwanted alarms.
False Alarm Filtering System
1. Frequency Filtering: The detection algorithm has been designed to detect only sharp, high-frequency vibrations associated with intrusion attempts, while filtering out long-frequency weather conditions.
2. Sensitivity Levels: 11 easily adjustable sensitivity levels per zone with DIP switches.
3. Weather Station: To prevent false alarms caused by weather conditions.
