Maintenance
Solar panels are equipment with very low or no maintenance. It is not recommended to open the diode box as these are sealed; if it is strictly necessary to do so, follow these steps:
With a fine-tipped flathead screwdriver, pry out the tip of the plastic clips in the opposite direction and carefully remove the cover from top to bottom as shown in the video:
Warranty recommendations and comments
- Any claim for this product must be made within the warranty period with the invoice for the same.
- The equipment's serial number must be visible, as well as the rear label.
- If the MC-4 connectors are cut on the module, the module instantly loses its warranty.
- Do not install when an object at some point in the day creates shade, this is considered a poor installation and may be grounds for warranty loss.
- Do not mix modules of different powers in the same controller or inverter, this is considered a poor installation and may be grounds for warranty loss.
- It is recommended to use the EP-MC4 crimping tool when folding the EPL01 connectors to the cable you will use to connect your module to the inverter or controller.
Note: Electrical specifications are indicated under an irradiance of 1000 W/m² and a temperature of 25 ºC.
Installation comment
To avoid damage to the module's cable connection, you should put cable ties (plastic ties) on the cable when installing it so that they are not loose. The weight of the cable and the wind can damage the diode box.
