The router also has a built-in intelligent load balancing function that automatically selects the most efficient line according to load and bandwidth requirements, offering users consistent network uptime and reliable Ethernet connectivity.
Security Features
To defend against external threats, the TL-R480T+ can automatically detect and block DoS (Denial of Service) attacks such as TCP/UDP/ICMP Flooding, Ping of Death, and other related threats. However, this router provides IP/MAC/URL/Web filtering functions, which vigorously prevent attacks from intruders and viruses. For better internal network management, the TL-R480T+ allows administrators to set rules to block specific websites and IM/P2P applications with just one click and restrict staff from using specific services such as FTP, HTTP, and SMTP.
Efficient Access
By configuring a PPPoE Server to distribute PPPoE accounts for private network users, the router only allows users with legal accounts that have passed authentication to access the Internet. By cooperating with IP-based Bandwidth Control, it can limit the bandwidth usage of certain PPPoE accounts. However, the E-Bulletin function can release a web-based newsletter to certain user groups periodically, notifying users about the expiration date of the PPPoE account. With the aforementioned features, the router will prioritize different users in the browser jurisdiction for more efficient management.
