This product makes use of the principle that electricity produces magnetic energy, so when electricity passes through the silicon steel sheet, special steel manufactured to possess certain magnetic properties; the magnetic lock will hold the iron sheet together tightly enough to lock the door. If the electricity were cut, the lock would open, only if the access control system recognizes a person and allows this power cut.
